Wish You Were Here with Me

It's 3 am

The wind is howling through the cracks in the window

I close my eyes, try to drift back to sleep

but my mind won't shut off the memories

I toss and turn

I can't breathe

I reach for you, you're not there

I miss you; I miss you; I miss you

I wish you were here with me

We're not getting any younger

The years are passing us by

Same house, Different beds

No cuddles, No Sweetness

Just a pillow for my head

I toss and turn

I can't breathe

I reach for you, you're not there

I miss you; I miss you; I miss you

I wish you were here with me

It's 4 am, I'm still awake, still alone

just me and the wind that howls and moans

Will the heartache ever cease?

Will the loneliness subside?

Will time, will time erase you from my mind?

I toss and turn

I can't breathe

I reach for you, you're not there

I miss you; I miss you; I miss you

I wish you were here with me

Oh, how I wish you, wish you were here with me

I toss and turn

I can't breathe

I reach for you, you're not there

I miss you; I miss you; I miss you

I wish you were here with me
